Instagram giveaway picker: fair winners, backups and a record

CommentCrate Pro draws giveaway winners from the comments you scanned, entirely in your browser.

How it works

  1. Open the Instagram post and press Scan comments.
  2. Press Giveaway in the panel (or in the extension popup).
  3. Choose a quick setup and, if you like, a date range, then set the number of winners and backups.
  4. Press Draw, click the winners' names to check their profiles, and save the record.

Rules you can set

  • Quick setup: everyone, tag 1 friend, tag 2 friends, or custom rules. The number of tags is counted from the comment text.
  • One entry per person (the first comment counts) or several.
  • Date range: only comments between two moments, so the deadline you announced is the deadline you apply. Comments with no time information are left out when a range is set, and the screen tells you how many.
  • Keyword, replies and exclusions: require a word, count replies as entries, or exclude accounts such as your own and your partners'.

A draw you can defend

Winners and backups are drawn at random without repeats, using the browser's cryptographic random generator. They are fixed before the short animation starts; the flickering names, the ranking badges and the confetti are only for show. The result lists winner 1, winner 2 and so on, then the backups in order.

Check the winner

Instagram does not tell an extension who follows an account, and a tag can point to any name, so CommentCrate cannot verify those conditions. Click a winner's name instead: their profile opens in a new tab and you can check the follow and the tags yourself before you announce.

Keep a record

Save the draw as PDF, Excel or JSON: date, post, rules and date range, how many comments were captured and eligible, winners with their comments, backups and the method used. See keep proof of your giveaway draw.

Local and private

The draw runs on the comments already in your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded. The only thing the tool remembers is the last quick setup you picked.

Free and Pro
