About CommentCrate

CommentCrate is a browser extension for people who need the comments of a social media post in a file: creators checking a giveaway, brands writing a report, researchers counting replies.

What it does

Open an Instagram, YouTube or TikTok post, press Scan and download the comments as CSV, XLSX or JSON. Pro removes the 200-comment limit and adds replies, giveaway draws and JSON export. The guide shows the steps.

How we work

Your comments are read in your browser and saved to your computer; they are not sent to us. The few requests the extension does make are listed in the privacy policy. Platforms change, and some comments are never shown to everyone, so when a scan stops early the extension says so and says why. The FAQ lists the limits we know about. Pricing is simple: one free plan and one Pro plan, monthly or yearly. See pricing and the refund policy.

Independence

CommentCrate is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google or TikTok.
