Using the comments under your own posts
After a busy post there are more comments than you can read in the app. A spreadsheet makes them easier to go through.
Get them into a sheet
Open your post, scan it and save the CSV or XLSX file. Open it in Google Sheets or Excel. Each row is one comment with the username, the text, the likes and the time when the platform shows it. The sample export file shows the exact columns.
Find the questions
Filter the text column for a question mark, or for words such as “how”, “where” and “price”. The questions that come up again and again are your next post, or a pinned reply.
See what people liked most
Sort the likes column from high to low. The top comments tell you which sentence or moment people reacted to. On YouTube and Instagram the likes are in the file when the platform shows them.
Say thank you to the people who show up
Count how often each username appears. The names near the top are people who comment on most of your posts. A short reply, a shout-out or a small gift costs little and people remember it.
If you give something away
The same scan can run a draw: see how to run a giveaway and the fair giveaway checklist. Only the first winner is free; several winners need Pro.
Keep in mind
- The file holds what the page showed you at the time of the scan. Hidden, filtered or deleted comments are not in it.
- The free plan reads up to 200 top-level comments per post; Pro has no limit and includes replies.
- Use it on posts you have the right to use. Comments belong to the people who wrote them, so do not publish names without asking.
